  1. I have always thought this to be the most succinct and useful viewgraph to engage in U.S. energy policy discussions. You see sources, inefficiencies, and end-uses in one place.

    Now, what we need to do, is describe how LFTR (or any proposed technology for that matter), changes this chart. To me, the only missing significant piece of information are emissions.

  2. It's a very important chart because one can fit LFTR into each of the pink colored categories:

    residential
    commercial
    industrial
    transportation

    No all energy uses are in electricity, they are often in gas, for space heating, for example, and for precision high temp applications in industry. But much of this can be replaced by LFTR generated electricity, as can EVs or synthetic fuel in the large transportation category.
