WILL WE SEE RAPID GLOBAL WARMING WITH THE RETURN OF SUNSPOTS?

Probably as rapid as before. They haven't seemed to have much effect one way or the other in recent decades.

The Oceanic oscillations are still in a cooling phase and will be for more than a decade to come.

The sunspots are gone already. The other indicators of solar activity are still unusually low.

We're going to find out if a quiet sun amplifies oceanic oscillation cooling. It's going to get cooler for years, the question is how much cooler is it going to get. Something similar to the Dalton Minimum is the worst case scenario, so don't anyone start gibbering about a new ice age.
